Mike’s construction career began after his graduation from The Virginia Military Institute in 1998. Mike started as a Project Manager for Ryan Homes in North Carolina where he oversaw the construction of more than 600 single-family homes, 150 multifamily homes, and three condominium projects in a two state region. While at Ryan Homes, Mike transitioned into the Costing and Estimating Manager position and was responsible for the estimating and cost maintenance for a division that built over 3000 homes during his seven-year career.

Mike finished his career at Ryan Homes as a Sales and Marketing Manager. He then relocated St. Louis, Missouri. As a Project Manager for McBride and Son Homes, Mike led a team which built more than 700 homes, including custom homes and projects requiring land purchase and rezoning. He went on to establish the largest Planned Urban Development in the St. Louis area.

After five years in St. Louis, Mike relocated to Northwest Arkansas and served as a Division President for a production home builder. Over his three years, Mike led a team responsible for the sales, marketing, costing and construction of more than 300 homes in a two state region. Mike’s passion is creating homes that both benefit and foster enjoyable experiences for trade partners, suppliers, and clients.

Michael's residential construction career began when he was 18 years old. While on college summer and Christmas vacations, he worked for a home builder in Hot Springs, Arkansas. His duties included everything from framing and siding homes to electrical work. After earning a degree from the University of Arkansas in Administrative Management with a minor in Real Estate Finance in 2006, Michael began working at Cintas as an Outside Sales Agent.

After three and a half years with Cintas, Michael had the opportunity to join Mike working for a production home building company in 2010. As a Field Manager and Division Construction Manager, Michael oversaw new home construction of over 350 homes in ten subdivisions throughout Northwest Arkansas. He has extensive experience in scheduling, problem solving, estimating and overseeing the entire construction process - from preparing the lot for building to getting the home ready to go through the closing process. Since Baumann & Crosno Construction opened, Michael has overseen the work on over 1,000 home starts and put all operations processes and procedures in place for the field and the office.
